    Default Problems with NFS Server

I am having problems accessing my NFS shares. I just moved and I set up a wired connection to my Boxee Box with a Linksys EA4500 router. Previously, I was using a Linksys E4200 with a TEW-687 gaming adapter for internet access to my Boxee. I had an NFS server setup on HaneWin and everything was working fine. With the new setup, I can still see the NFS share on the Boxee when I browse files and I select NFS Server, but when I try and play the file, it will give a loading error. My Hanewin settings are listed below and it's a registered version.

I can also redo the setup for my sources and switch to SMB. I can access the sources just fine and I had no issues with buffering because it is a wired connection now. The only con to resort to do the setup again is that it is a pain to identify movies and shows all over again. Boxee does a great job ID'ing about 90% of the files, but it's a pain to find the movies that are identified wrong.

Edit - Tried accessing the share a couple times and Boxee crashed, error log link below

Could you please add a little bigger screen shots !! From your log it looks like you've entered invalid path to the directory on your pc .
ERROR: MountShare - Failed to mount [/tmp/mnt/nfs%5fMalakaiPC%2elocal%5fMedia01%2f
    .
Can you please make sure that your BB 's ip address is still 192.168.2.37 ?? Also try to share the NFS share to whole network subnet !

Each of the shares is a 2TB hdd and the path is just the drive letter itself. I changed the export file so it shares to the whole subnet, and I previously changed it to public and it still did not work, the text version of the export file is below.

    D:\ -name:Media01 -alldirs -range 192.168.2.2 192.168.2.50
    E:\ -name:Media02 -alldirs -range 192.168.2.2 192.168.2.50
    F:\ -name:Media03 -alldirs -range 192.168.2.2 192.168.2.50
    H:\ -name:Media05 -alldirs -range 192.168.2.2 192.168.2.50
    I:\ -name:Media06 -alldirs -range 192.168.2.2 192.168.2.50
    J:\ -name:Media07 -alldirs -range 192.168.2.2 192.168.2.50
    K:\ -name:Media08 -alldirs -range 192.168.2.2 192.168.2.50
    M:\ -name:Media09 -alldirs -range 192.168.2.2 192.168.2.50
    N:\ -name:Media10 -alldirs -range 192.168.2.2 192.168.2.50
    G:\ -name:TV -alldirs -range 192.168.2.2 192.168.2.50
    L:\ -name:Temp -alldirs -range 192.168.2.2 192.168.2.50

My settings are the exact same as yours except for the exports file. My exports file looks like this:

    d:\ -alldirs
    e:\ -alldirs
    f:\ -alldirs
    j:\ -alldirs

I don't have any issues accessing the folders in each drive.
    Router: ASUS rt-n56u (Black Diamond)
Server: Intel Quad Core 8200, Radeon 3450, 4GB RAM, Windows 7 Ultimate, Wired Gigabit
Boxee Box: latest firmware, Wired Ethernet
    Connectivity: Netgear AV500 Powerline Adapters

I setup the exports file like this also and I get the same result. I'm going to do a factory reset and see if that helps, if not, setting up SMB shares. Thanks everyone for the input.

Is there an option to change the EA4500 to share the drive over NFS instead of SMB? I cant seem to find any info on it.

You're replying to a thread that's about a year old so you might not get a reply

I've not had the need to try NFS so I'm not familiar with setting it up - but I'm sure the settings in your router have nothing to do with the procedure

Assuming your using a Windows PC, you might want to search the forum for HaneWin, concerning how to set up NFS sharing with your BBox
