I wonder if you might be able to tell me whether my audio problems are known issues - it's a tricky keyword to search for given the audio dropout problems, which I don't think is what I'm seeing.
My problem is that most of the time I start a movie or TV series, I get no audio (right from the beginning, not random dropouts which is why I don't think I'm seeing the above issue). Sometimes restarting playback restores sound, sometimes (in the case of ripped DVDs) accessing the DVD menu and reselecting the chapter restores it and sometimes I have to go and watch something else. Oddly in the case of some DVDs I get sound on the DVD menus but not on the actual movie/show itself (of vice-versa). All content plays fine from other devices.
My content is a mixture of TV Series (exclusively .VOB format) and movies (a mixture of .VOB, .M4v and .AVI) and I'm on build 126.96.36.19935-b6a5be1 from March 2nd.
Content is stored on a server, and my BB is wired into the network, accessing the files with SMB. BB connects to the TV with HDMI. Audio output is set to "All Outputs".
Can't think of much more information to tell - can anyone give any advice, please?
