    Question YouTube

    I have installed boxee on my dads media pc but for some reason the youtube app wont work. I initially installed the latest flash which boxee doesn't seem to like as kicks up an error. I downgraded to 10 and got rid of that. Any idea if its that, thats making youtube not work?

    You can safely ignore the startup error message and should use/install the latest version of Flash -- it might be necessary to manually the version for "other browsers" as well.

    What is the latest version of flash? Flash player 12 is lastest?

    Let's clarify one thing, just in case some people still haven't caught on...

    Every time you launch the PC Windows version of Boxee v1.5, it will nag you about needing the latest flash player.
    No player installation can make it stop this nagging, as it's just a silly unmotivated warning without real meaning.

    It doesn't mean that anything useful is missing. It only means that team Boxee coded an incorrect test method,
    which causes the program to ask for some flash version even if it's already present (and working in Boxee).

    So just ignore it, as yet another meaningless startup message.
    (Or consider it an ad blurb for adobe... )
