Default Boxee Box + Google TV

I won one of those Logitech Revue boxes when they first came out but it has been sitting in my closet ever since because the Boxee box did everything I needed. Well just recently I ran out of time on my free Amazon prime account and upgraded to a paid version and I bought a pair of nice speakers to use in my setup. Unfortunately as we all know Boxee doesn't have Amazon VoD and the Boxee music app was driving me crazy (intermittent audio dropping bug) so I dug out my GoogleTV box and it has been wonderful. I have it set up so it is basically sitting on top of the Boxee (Boxee HDMI -> GoogleTV ->TV) and now I have access to Amazon VoD and Google Music as well as the other apps available on Google Play. It's not perfect by any means, the Amazon app literally just launches their webpage, the Google Music app is pretty plain and has to stream the music over the internet where ideally I would like to stream it over my LAN and there aren't that many apps available for GoogleTV yet but it does provide a sort of pretty neatly integrated option for music and Amazon until Boxee can get its own Amazon app and a less terrible music player.

Edit: Forgot to mention that GoogleTV has the Netflix and Amazon catalogs incorporated into its television listings as has been suggested multiple times for the Boxee. Apparently this feature hasn't been implemented in the Boxee because it is claimed that Netflix won't allow it (source) - did Google have to pay Netflix extra for this privilege or something?

I would love to have the netflix catalogue incorporated into the movies and tv listings. I think the netflix interface sucks myself. I havent seen one device yet where it didnt hinder itself. I mean really i cant just browse the whole catalogue I have to know what im looking for? Annoying. I think a feature like this would go miles for the boxee. be nice if you could do that for multiple sources and if you dont have a source or dont want it beable to turn it off. Man this would be nice!!!!

It is great to know that, there are neat integrated options for music and music player for GoogleTV. I have not used it so i would also like to check out the GoogleTV box.

Music is lacking on the GTV last I looked at it - as long as you were willing to upload all your stuff to teh cloud, you could use the Play Music app - I didnt care much for the embedded player pulling from my media server - lots of weird behavior (watching a movie, then hit pause would cause the last song to play, then no way to restart the movie) thats when it went back in the box

But the whole point is integration & tv guide. You don't get that with built in tuners.

Anyways that doesn't answer my question: I was wondering if google tv will play nice with boxee live. You can't use google tv with your tv tuner. You need a separate box. So why not a boxee box?
