Do you live in fear or courage?
There are two kinds of companies that appear when they come at a crossroads of change (I know I'm years behind) The company that has faith and confidence and lets it's old style users keep on. Then there are the companies that live in fear and simply forget or drop their early users. Guess which one Boxee.TV is. Sorry you didn't have the class to support your early users that went thru beta and fixed bugs. There will be a time when you'll need people like the ones you've dropped and I'm not so sure I'll be there for you.

Is the Love Gone!
I have been a loyal fan of Boxee since is long as I can remember, I quickly killed Medio (http://www.meedios.com/) because of the potential Boxee displayed and have been using the PC version ever since. Boxee popularity grew because of dedicated PC and MAC individuals like myself. The other day, I had to re-install the application and noticed that it is no longer available for download (unless I am mistaken). Has Boxee totally abandoned the user community that made it successful and a competitor in the Media Center Market?
I understand the direction Boxee is taking by making the application available via dedicated set-top boxes. A product I was actually contemplating on purchasing once the Iomega Boxee TV became available within the US. However, now that Boxee totally disregarded its loyal user’s fan base? I ponder, Is it time to say goody to Boxee!
There are many products that are just as good and provided many of the same services Boxee offers. The proliferation of new Internet ready Television such as Samsung with their Media OS, is making the need to purchase another device for accessing online media content obsolete and taking Boxee along with it. Sure, there is a need for now, but this may diminish over time.
As for myself, I installed PLex (http://www.plexapp.com) on my Samsung TV and was up and running in a few hours viewing all my movies from my NAS, even though I still had an older version of Boxee! One less box and remote next to my TV!
Sorry Boxee! For now, you lost me!
