Here's what I would do:

Uninstall all versions of Boxee and then make sure to delete (or rename) the AppData folder for Boxee (c:\users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Boxee -- if you can't see the AppData folder, enable view hidden/system folders via Windows Explorer>>Organize>>Folder and Search Options).

Using the web browser of your choice, make sure that you go here http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/otherversions/ and download the Windows 7 / Flash Player for Other Browsers plugin.

Reinstall Boxee v1.5 for Windows from here: http://bartsidee.nl/downloads

and try one of the shows again.

I don't think you'll be able to get the YouTube app to work but the browser should be better behaved after a clean install.

For YouTube, you could try youtube.com/XL in the Boxee Browser

Really????? Broken on the box and broken on the pc. XBMC here I come. Sheesh!

Flash is not broken on the Boxee v1.5 software. I've used it just fine.

Can't manage to display it fullscreen. Or revert to 10.3, in which case a lot of content from the networks doesn't work in Canada. So here's the choice we're left with....

11.3 - Watch in tiny widow or...
10.# - Don't watch it.

Are you talking about the Windows version of Boxee (and using 1.5)?

if you have an iPhone or iPad device you can stream it wirelessly to Boxee. just play the youtube video from i-device and use the Airplay feature to connect to Boxee. to connect, while playing the youtube video, look on the screen of the idevice for a envelope icon, select boxee video and you should be in business

I know the Product Manager at D-Link for the Boxee Box, asked him about the broken Flash situation with BB and OS Boxee. He said Boxee has known about it for a LONG time and keeps claiming they are working on it. I get the impression the PM doesn't believe that for a second and I'd agree, just look how long this HAS BEEN going on!! (it's Feb 2013!). They're pretty fed up with Boxee. BTW, officially BB is NOT an EOL product for D-Link and they plan to continue to market it till at least 3rd Qtr 2013 even though Boxee only promises ONE MORE OS update. I've had one (a BB) since the very first D-Link release, I thought it was a great idea until I had to put up will all the Boxee bullchit of FU'd updates and bugs. I will never again buy anything with a Boxee name on it. (but I will hack the crap out of my BB after the turkey's at Boxee drop all support for it, cause D-Link made a great little NAS media server.
