walking dead, californication, shameless, simpsons, family guy, portlandia, 30 rock, community, up all night, parks and rec, archer, bobs burgers, some more. i just set up a pure 720p feed to see which ones came down, but its only 3 of them and not every week. and i think those are all pretty mainstream. i need a new source that isnt newsgroup fed. someone needs to do a sticky on sourcing content and some how-to's. i know the legality is debatable, but.......

more handy info/correction for the youngin's in the crowd: earlier i said it was LOL vs VTV as far as what works and doesnt. LOL is a capture/encoder group, they make the file. VTV is a distro group which spreads the file around. EZTV is another distro group. the particular file that doesnt work for me was capped by ASAP. All of my files from ASAP dont seem to mix well with Boxee, FYI....

Ah, I use newsgroups and nzbs.org which has been a great combo for me and rock solid.

There are some pretty good forums out there for sourcing content / how-tos but if you're having problems find them, you might try asking over here: http://www.dslreports.com/forum/swapping you can post anonymously if you like.

rss just seems easier and less "messy" to deal with. newsgroups are something ill really have to delve into more. thanks for the link

with sickbeard + sabnzbd, you'd never know you were using newsgroups instead. if you end up thinking about newsgroups at all, i can recommend http://astraweb.com/ (I do their $50 for 1TB of downloads, no time limit...)

Did you get the source from here? A great package...<make sure you create the required users before installing.

I use NZB 'R us and NZBs.org for newsgroups and usenetserver with good success.

Python never shows as "running". See attached.

Edit: Also...IIRC "transmission" is the one that needs to be created before installation. Sabnzbad needs a user created as well..but I'll check my settings. Giving each permissions to read/write to those folders.
Edit2: Also create the Sabnzbad and transmission folders. <sorry I'm not more specific...it has been awhile!>

Sorry for the misinformation (I also had problems when I first installed transmission using these instructions..
    http://synoblog.superzebulon.org/man...on-spk-manual/

Then I found a user comment that worked well:
    1. create the transmission share
    2. install the package
    3. grant the transmission user (added by the installer) read+write permissions on the share
Note below the "transmission user" is created by the package...
    Technical Details

At installation time, a transmission user will be created. It will be removed along with the package when it get uninstalled. Transmission is run as this user.
