    Default TV Shows Gone Missing...

For starters: I'm not at all tech-savvy, so bear with me.

I got my Boxee Box last summer and have mostly enjoyed it.

For the last couple of months, however, some of my favorite content has been missing. Specifically, The Daily Show, The Colbert Report, Family Guy, and a few others.

No problem, I thought, Boxee has a browser. I'll just navigate to the show's webpages and this will solve everything!

Nope. Turns out you have to update Flash Player to get these things to play, and Boxee and Flash are apparently totally incompatible and the fault lies at Adobe's door (from what I can gather from the forums). (Seeing as how a LOT of internet content is Flash... how come Boxee didn't think of this to start? Just curious.)

Are there any workarounds? Any way of fixing this? Help! Without this stuff, my Boxee is mostly just a $200 Netflix machine, to me... and I already had a PS3 for that anyway.

Unfortunately there are no workarounds for flash player . We've to wait until Adobe develops a new flash player.. You can follow the following thread for updated information on this issue http://forums.boxee.tv/showthread.ph...t=Flash+player .

    Default downgrade?

Why did boxee push out the update? is there a way to downgrade the boxee? Like installing a old image to a flash card?

Yes you can downgrade your Boxee firmware, but it won't solve the Flash issue (please see my response to your other post that clears this up).
