Boxee Live TV doesn't pick up full cable package / program guide not available

Hi all,

1) I have a subscription for cable with more than just the basic package. Boxee Live TV only recognizes 17 channels (which I assume are the free ones). Will it recognize the channels that I pay for (from my more-than-basic cable package) as well? I have the cable going straight into the Live.

2) In addition to that, the program guide is giving me "no data." Is there any way to remedy this?

If anyone could help or give me any advice, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks.

Boxee LiveTV will only work with unencrypted cable connection (using ClearQAM) ..your paid ones are probably encrypted so Boxee will not be able to decode them .
Depending on your Internet/cable provider, you may only see the channel's signal ID instead of channel lineup data. You can edit your channel lineup by hitting LEFT while the channel listing is visible and selecting “Edit Channels.” Click the “gear” icon for a channel. You can now select a matching channel from the list in the bottom of the dialogue box.
