remote does nothing in boxee

Hi all.
I am running mythbuntu 11.10
I have an mce remote that controls everything fine in mythtv.
I installed boxee 1.5 and have it working correctly, except for the remote.
My remote does nothing in boxee. I know it works becasue it works fine with mythtv.
I have searched and cant find any reason this does not work.

Lirc seems to be loading correctly.

These are the only error I see in the error log

Any idea what might be going on here?

This same remote worked on my old computer that used an older version of boxee.
