Just got my Rii remote, and not THAT into it
Everyone seems to really like this Rii remote, so I got one. So far I'm not that impressed, but I'm wondering if I'm just doing some things incorrectly.
First, the trackpad kind of awful. Swiping a finger from one end to the other makes the cursor go such a tiny distance on the screen that it completely defeats the purpose - I thought it would make it easier for web browsing to not have to hold arrow keys down and make right angle turns with the cursor all the time, but now I'm just vigorously stroking the remote, which isn't any easier (insert "vigorously stroking" joke here). So is there any way to adjust this at all?
Secondly, sometimes I choose to forego the trackpad and use the arrow keys. However, sometimes I try to click the select button to the left of the arrow keys, and it registers a "click" where the cursor is, and not where the arrow keys have selected. Also sometimes the button to the right of the arrows doesn't work for "back" - I instead need to use a back key on the keyboard, or the escape key. So I'm just sort of confused about how that's supposed to work. What am I doing wrong here?
The keyboard is great, and the backlight is great. The backlight is really why I wanted this thing the most, but I shelled out the money for the full package, and now I sort of feel like I paid way too much for it. But maybe I'm doing things wrong or am just not used to it yet. Everyone really seems to like it, and I trust that. So...help! I want to like it!
