Six feature requests

1. I would love it if I could clear the green check and shading of watched media on a per show or per episode basis.

2. A Play Random button that will play a random show or movie based on your current location in the file hierarchy (if on the main show screen play random episode of any of the shows, if in list of episodes for a single show only play random episode from that show, etc).

3. Play all option for shows or seasons.

4. Option to have the selector start at the last episode you watched on a per show basis.

5. Integrate the Netflix episodes as part of a show's file source options. For example say I have some episodes of 30 Rock locally and Netflix also has a selection of 30 Rock episodes, allow me to access the Netflix episodes from the same episode listings as my local shows.

6. Have a listing of recently added media.

#5 gets asked for occasionally but Netflix won't allow it.

#6 this exists for local tv shows and local movies but not online items.

This seems really weird to me. I mean, I could understand if they had advertising or maybe if all of their GUIs were exactly the same but given that they don't have advertising and their GUIs are widely different across devices I can't imagine why Netflix would care how people accessed their content. Unless they were concerned that someone would try to rebrand their content. But even then it seems like the Netflix splash screen when starting a video would pretty much answer that concern. Plus the fact that you can't access the content without a subscription to Netflix. I guess I should just be happy that they're not quite as evil as the cable companies.
