    Possibly.

Anyhow, I'm excited to see the new firmware. I hope they get it out soon! I'm eager to see it. The only problem I have is that Boxee has only made a deal with comcast and nobody else. So over the air means nothing to me. So unless they some how can get there hauppauge device working with a IR blaster to my receiver or something, than I have no use for it. :s

And there are many users outside US that don`t care about the Comcast deal. Even worse: here in Brazil, Netflix still does not work with BoxeeBox. The only options to watch NetFlix Brazil subscriptions are PCs, PS3 and WDTV Live. New Sony TVs (2012 models) are also supposed to support Netflix (but not the older ones).

The rumors says that the DRM encryption that Netflix is using here is different from the one used in US.

So unless Boxee decides to focus in US market only, they should also give something to the Boxee users around the world (such as supporting Netflix worldwide and making some deals with the major cable providers outside US so we could also enjoy the PVR stuff).

We will get Netflix this year to the Nordic countries (I'm from Finland). I hope we can get it to work in Boxee Box.

we need to get this show on the road. For a box that touted updates every 3 months its been a while. I understand taking a little more time but with no word is getting annoying. I know a lot of companies dont give product development updates but the companies I can think of have more solid products on the market.

    Also update your iphone/ipad/ipod app
    HP Mediasmart Server EX495 (WHS v1 12tb)
    AppleTV (v1)(v3)
    Boxee Box (retiring???)

one thing that I noticed that was different w/ boxee support > usually they get back to you in a day or two, this time it took 5 days and came from the same guy we see here... either some have left or focus has shifted from this box !

Well i think the money is out now for software development. Boxee is a slow sinking ship.

I've got this reply after contacting Boxee regarding all my problems with the Boxee Box freezing, audio drop outs, etc: We are working on a new firmware, currently we don't have a release date for it, sorry for the inconvenience.

That's good to hear. I just think they have a lot of work and not enough people.
