Ok so if they work in the browser and they are still rtmp/rtsp streams what keeps them from playing in navi?
The flash wrapping?
I thought I saw that too in the navi repository.
Ironbill, any ideas?
Thank you

Apps are not browsers. In the browser, the streams use jwplayer in the browser itself to handle parameters of an rtmp stream. Since jwplayer is setup to handle the parameters delivered and parsed by the server in the player itself, it will play in a browser capable of handling jwplayer.
When using apps, the browser is not invoked to handle resolving of URL's... our app works with the python interpreter, which runs by another set of rules and systems entirely than what's included in a browsers package. Because we use python and have to introduce content differently than a browser would, there is nothing within our app or Boxee's python API to handle these things automatically... hence why we use scrapers and processors to introduce content to your media player. Processors effectively "replace" the work done by jwplayer to introduce the content for playback into your media player.
Just a thought kls2k... why don't you just link to the webpages containing the rtmp links directly on your Navi-X playlist, and set the type as "html (boxee only)"... then it would open the boxee browser from within a playlist in Navi-X and playback the content for you using your boxee browser and jwplayer... giving you working streams. It would be alot faster than waiting for a processor to possibly get coded from one of our volunteer coders.
