look at this ticket its been open for a while and its been overlooked so many people voted commented and still nothing from boxee no reply where is the actual support or customer service ???????

It's one of 100s of issues that's assigned to "Boxee Backlog", meaning that it is not currently scheduled to be fixed in an upcoming release. Now, to be fair, that could change at any time but there's no way of knowing when and no way for customers to find out.

I get that "RTMP" streaming is important to you but it doesn't look like it's going to be working on the Box anytime soon. If it's a deal breaker for you then you're probably better off returning / selling your Box and waiting until it's available and purchasing a box then.

RTMP streams are the defecto standard now. Hardly mms streams around - cant you bump this up as it could be a deal breaker to many and a loss of revenue for sure.

imo its the only thing holding this superb box back.

Im debating either they fix it or add support to work with rtmp or sell it go for apple tv if xbmc can play em why stick with boxee i mean who wouldnt wanna stream live tv like apple users could

SOC-arc I think works using it but I go no idea how to get to open a custom stream inside the app.;
