New Beta 2 Firmware 1.5.1.23731 (24th Feb)

Downloaded the latest ISO but still doesn't fix my issue that occured after the last update in early February. Can't get into factory menu which will allow me to update from USB. Hold the power button for 5-8 or 6-10 seconds, I get a yellow icon, but after a few seconds starts flashing 2 red, and one green. Filed a report, say to send box back. I have had the box for a year and some months, and never had much for issues (except having to go into factory settings after EVERY update). Has anyone resolved this yet or are there others out there that cannot get their boxee going after this last update? Do I really have to send the box back?

2nd. While customers "like" new features we "HATE" it more when something that presently works gets broken. All most all customers would prefer to have stable software then new software with lots of new features that breaks other things that have been working correctly.

beta 2 same as beta 1 for me. My OTA recorded mpgs stutter/freeze after a few mins of play (wired) and wireless. All were working fine prior to the last released firmware update.


As an aside, why can't the betas be pushed via that setting for wanting to receive beta/test firmwares.

my box has not worked reliably for months now and I rarely get to watch anything when i want to but rather spend all the time fiddling with it. Not a great experience.

Any thoughts on AirPlay after this beta? AirPlay most has not been working for me...hoping this release stabalizes it for me.
