But even stupider is what awaits me once it moves on to YouTube:

Not sure why those damn things are listed in the first place. Do people REALLY take advantage of this and watch? Not one of them have ever 'enticed' me enough to click to watch. Complete waste if you as me. Is another one of Boxee's team of getting some sort of revenue from this junk?

I for one like them. You should try it some times, they do have good stuff once in awhile. I discovered Adele that way.
But don't get me wrong I wish it would be customizable so that I could put my own stuff there.

I love trailers...as a movie fan it gives me a short synopsis about the theme of the movie,the cast...and wether I will have any interest in seeing this in theatres.If so,I will research it further to determine if I feel it is worth seeing in theaters...or wait for the DVD..

I wouldn't call them ads. More like a recommended watching feed direct from the Boxee staff. Most of the time they're just random cool videos from the web.
