    Default New boxee, new issues

    Hey all,


    first time user in the forums so forgive me if these issues are located elsewhere.


    First things first... I cant access my CPU files through the boxee. it prompts me for a username/ password which I input and it wont accept it. I have verified on my PC directly what the name and PW are (more than once) and it still doesnt accept it.


    second... where the hell is the netflix app? my remote has the netflix button and it doesnt seem to work. I have also tried searching the apps without success.

    Any help is appreciated. thanks in advance.

    Has the firmware been updated to the latest version? (Settings>>System>>Info -- should be v.1.5.0)

    Are you in the US or Canada (required for the Netflix app)?

    I was initially reluctant to update everything when i plugged it in because I just took a Boxee back to the store in the form of a brick. it finally prompted me and I isntalled all i needed> Netflix is working fine


    I had a different problem with my last Boxee and the D-link support was absolutely horrendous so i was doing everything in my power to avoid calling them. Right after posting my initial questions, My wife struggled through the d-link support and got it going.
