My feelings on Boxee (the end)

I have had Boxee for several years before the box came out. My plan was to run my mac mini with Boxee and have a second TV hooked up to the Boxee Box. Well the box has performed admirably but unfortunately Boxee on my Mac mini cannot play MKV files reliably, I cannot get my remote to work with it and it has become very difficult to use although its cataloging of my movies and TV shows is stlll First rate. I think i am going to dump it and the box and go to using airplay for the second TV or maybe a Roku or apple TV. plex will be my new Boxee on my mac. i am sorry it does not speak well of a company to dump the original program for the box. It would be analogous for Apple to dump its computers and just make ipads and phones because thats where their profit is. I think that Boxee has a lot of talented people working there but there business model is lacking. They are setting up to fail i am afraid. Good luck but the people who originally loved you and promoted you are going to turn on you. We want you to succeed and that is why I bought the box and would have paid for the Boxee app on the mac since you came out with the free boxee app for the ipad. like i said you guys are not very business savvy.
