You kidding? You/We do not want to rush them! We need to make sure the next one is properly tested and working prior to releasing. Otherwise, we'll have another thread like this consisting of nothing but complaints. I'd personally rather them take their time, and have a proper release out.

You think bigger and fewer releases are less error prone than more and smaller releases ?

You sure dont have any track-record from boxee showing that.
On the contrary my dear Watson

LOL, great point buddy! And, I'd love/do agree. However, I believe after this last FW release, they may be getting tired of all the complaints. With that said... I doubt it matters how long/few vs. short/simple the fixes may be... people will always have something to complain about.

Trust me, I have plenty to complain about. However, I feel it is pretty much useless now as I am sure the power users, admins, and mods are pretty much tired of hearing me complain (I'm sure as hell tired of complaining). I just read everyone else's complaints as I know I am not the only one, and just await for the replies as to perhaps be able to fix my own problems.

All good buddy. You and I in same boat man.

I agree with savenlid: I think it is time for a new beta.

I'm not asking for a new general release, just a new beta that people can try out at their own risk and which we can test to see if any of the major (easily solvable) bugs have been fixed.

That is the purpose of beta releases: wider testing of intended general releases so that bugs can be found before they affect everybody who gets a new general release.

Hey, nobody disagreeing with you in here man. Just HOPING for some/most of long term issues would be/could be resolved for each release.
