    Default Super Bowl

Similar situation here, recent cord cutters and bought a digital antenna to watch the Super Bowl, unfortunately we both have a houseful of family coming over to watch the game and apparently can't receive the local NBC station (wrong antenna, we need a VHF digital antenna?). The antenna we need won't be delivered in time. So it would be super if the game was streamed over the Boxee. Is this a possibility/probability/sure thing?

go to wal mart, buy the antenna you need, take it back after the game. if you have any type of cable tv in your house even if you aren't subscribing plug it in and scan for channels, many may be unecrypted especially your locals which would have the game.

I agree with Tipton's suggestions. I'm sure Boxee won't be streaming the game unless you get it through some 3rd party repository that has eurosport.

NBC.com and NFL.com are streaming the game in HD this year but they require Silverlight which doesn't work with Boxee. As an alternative, you could hook up a PC to your TV to stream directly from those websites though. Kind of defeats the purpose of the Boxee but could get you out of a jam if you don't have any other options.

It will have to be through the boxee browser if there is one. I would search for one on the pc first. After you get the address, then type it in on the boxee browser.
