Boxee Live TV and HD Channels
I am considering getting Boxee Live TV. I currently have digital cable and HD channels through that. What I don't have is an HD set top box. I want to keep my TV subscription. Will I be able to use the Boxee Live TV dongle to acces all my channels I am paying for, including HD ones? Making it so I don't have to purchase an HD set top through my cable provider?

Yes, but that is for antenna based programming, is it not? I want to hook my direct cable (that I am paying for) and know if the Boxee will essentially act as a high def cable box. Can it do that?

The Silicon Dust link does both (cable and antenna)
The Live TV tuner only picks up unencrypted digital channels so, no, it won't be a full replacement for a hi def cable box.

I forgot to mention that I am in Canada, so that link didn't work for me. But thank you for your answer, I suppose I will get a set top box instead.
