Thread: No cover art & No web pictures

    Default No cover art & No web pictures

    Hi Everyone. I can no longer see web content or cover art on BB home or menu pages. It just shows generic picture of a movie camera. Playing web contant or media works ok ,just cant see it in menu. Was originally working ok after 1.5 update. Any help would be apreciated.

    Does logging out and back in help?

    I have tried restarting, factory reset ,nothing seems to work.

    Does LOGGING OUT and back in help at all?

    Alternatively, try using 8.8.4.4 or 8.8.8.8 for DNS on the Box:

    1) Go to Settings>>Network>>Network
    2) Make a note of all the network values
    3) Manually set up your network settings using the same values except for DNS, use the IP addresses above.

    Tried logging out and also changed dns settings no change. Should i go back to original dns setting. Sorry this is all new to me. Thanks

    Tried the above suggestions with no success. No pictures on any media or web content. Is their anything else i can try with the settings. Thanks

    The same happened to my box, when I upgraded to 1.5. I think the coverart/thumbnail cache is unreadable by fw1.5, which was created by fw version 1.2 !!

    To solve this issue go to Settings > System > Advanced and select Clear media information from library, which will prompt you for a restart & after restart it will scan your File Sources again from scratch and make new cache of coverart/thumbnails and your problem will be solved

    Thanks jasmeet. Did what you stated with success. Not computer savvy but will attempt to send a log of events.

    Logout and DNS didn't work either. It should probably be noted that when I first installed 1.5 I had no issues. This came around about 24 hrs after the upgrade. Apps are all still crashing too
