list of movies that are not properly recognized (4825-all platforms)

If you have Parental Controls enabled, then NC-17 movies won't show up and I believe that Clerks is one of those.

I'd like to add to your DB issues with the additional content video issue:

One of the things that Boxee still doesn't handle very well are Bonus Content DVDs in it's library. For example, If I have "Rent (2005)" or "Rocky Horror Picture Show (1975)" in my movies, Boxee has no idea what to do with the additional bonus content iso. These DVD's often don't exist in the IMDB, and it's pretty much impossible for Boxee to identify them. Without a manual identity option in Boxee, these are often lost in the shuffle, and doomed to remain in unidentified land, or worse, be misreported.

I tried to search manual and with the NFO, but after the movie, I found it from my list of movies disapers Another from 1995, "Clerks."

I have a problem with two Dutch titles, the series Lijn 32 and the movie Süsskind. Both can be found on imdb.com, but Boxee won't identify them. When I try manually, it also won't show these movies.

How is this possible? If I can find them om imdb.com, Boxee should find them as well I would think.

I also have a problem with other foreign language titles, which are correctly identified by Boxee.

For example the Spanish movie Yo también is identified, but will be listed by Boxee with it's English title Me too.
I would prefer it to be listed in the original title. Over here in The Netherlands we're used to all the different language titles, so finding a movie in the list with another title is annoying.
Maybe give us the choice, original title or translation?

Boxee doesn't use imdb.com directly but a licensed copy of the database from imdb along with their own metadata. When you scan/identify, you're not accessing imdb.com but Boxee database servers.

Your best option is to use NFO files to get the items to show up exactly as you like -- see the NFO sticky post near the top of the Boxee Box Help section of the forums.

This is a really old thread that a) applied originally to the software/desktop version and not to the Boxee Box and b) is really no longer applicable since NFO files are now supported so I'm going to lock it.

If you need help with getting Boxee to identify specific items please do the following:

1) Review the NFO Resources sticky post, near the top of the Boxee Box Help forum section
2) Post a new thread in the Boxee Box Help section
