any way i can use google as my default search engin instead of bing

No not possible. we don't have those apps in the boxee. The browser is good and advanced.

But you can still use the google search engine just like any other web page, by starting the boxee web browser and entering the google.com address in it. And in Boxee's new firmware v1.5 you can then also save the main google search page as a shortcut/bookmark, to make the access quicker in future. (That's what I've done.)

Still rather annoying, to need to change page to do a search. I hope M$ is at least paying Boxee a TON of cash to be the default. Else I doubt it's worth the pain this causes Boxee customers.

Yes, the PAIN, it's UNBEARABLE. Having to select google.com from my list of saved favorites, it HURTS, it HURTS!
