    Default ISO Support Anytime Soon?

Does anyone know if ISO support is on the roadmap?

All my files are iso files.

    Default Ditto

Ditto all my files are ISO and don't show up on the iPad. They all work fine on my boxee box but would like to have them on the iPad as well.

Really hope it is on the road map or this app is useless for me.

    Thanks!
    John

ISO are not media files but disc images, for something like this to work they have to extract the contents of the ISO then transcode the MPEG-2 stream into H.264 video.

With ISO images you have the added complications of getting the wrong video stream and also the wrong audio stream in this process, not to mention the problems subtitles would also present.

The end result could be pretty messy and wont work for all movies even if they did add it.

As hackztor said you might be better off running the ISO through MakeMKV/VOB2MPG this will output the movie to a single file lossless so no loss of quality and quick to do, the media manager should be able to take it from there.
