Copying to USB Attached Drive

I was hoping you can help. I am wanting to buy the boxee box but with it not having any internal storage it causes me some concern. If I attach a USB drive directly to the Boxee Box would I be able to copy files from my laptop to the drive over the network or would I need to unplug the USB drive and attach it directly to my laptop?

I want a wireless solution but am a bit confused what to do about storage as I don't want to leave my laptop on all the time and it's hard drive is limited.

Yes, you can set the boxee as a SBM server - and add a pw to it.

So on your laptop / compuoter you could go to \\boxeebox\ and see the drive with the id Guest and the password that you set.

THen you can add / remove files to it.
