Dear Boxee,
Fix your f**king software. I have been running on the beta for weeks with zero issues and after being a Boxee Box user for almost a year I finally brought the device into the living room as my main device for viewing media.
Now you broke all my media sources and network connections act like ass. Your forced update was garbage and your team should be embarrassed. Fix it.

D1g, what beta were you running? The latest beta was what was pushed as the update?
I did the following as posted by Ronald and alot of my issues were resolved:
After the factory restore, when you get the prompt saying "Restart", simply turn the box off using the power button on the box itself. This way you avoid ever resetting into v0.9. (I'm not sure how bad effects doing so could have, but I do know that it uses obsolete data structures)
Instead you then turn the box on again in the special way to boot into the recovery menu where you then install the new firmware from USB.
This way the initial Boxee boot and all configuration is done in the new firmware, so that it can build a new internal database from scratch, without any remnant data structures based on obsolete standards.
