    ** UPDATE: 29 Jan 12 **

Thank you Boxee Team for the Boxee PC Windows build fix

-The aspect ratio problem is fixed. No more vertical black bars on sides of videos.

-**UPDATE 29Jan12: The video time index countdown instead of time elapsed. Not an issue. Just discovered that during playback, while the On-Screen playback controls are on the screen, pressing down arrow will toggle the time index countdown/elapsed time mode.

-** UPDATE 28Jan12:** Crash error : "XBMC: Error CreateFile 'xbmc.rUnknown.dmp' failed with error id 5" while running Navi-X seems fixed. In 3 days of testing, Navi-X hasn't caused Boxee to crash once with that error message.

-AC3 5.1 bitstreaming/multichannel surround issue. ** UPDATE: issue solved. The fix is to use this last January build of Boxee PC for windows and to make sure in the Windows Sound Playback Device settings that the sound device for the receiver is kept at STEREO, NOT 5.1 SURROUND (even with the 5.1 surround speakers). Curiously, AC3 5.1 and DTS 5.1 will bitstream just fine like that.

Thank you for the fixes. Now I can revert back to using Boxee more often.

Is it even worth using or should I just stick with XBMC 11.0 Eden? After the crap pulled with the initial release of the 1.5 update, I'm very gun shy about Boxee now. I feel I can't trust Team Boxee anymore, especially with giving up support to the software versions. So when you say minor fixes, have you really fixed it to a point that it is indeed usable? As I have no interest of every buying a Boxee Box now. If its truly still not usable and broken just like you released it. I'll just stick with XBMC 11.0 Eden, it has never given me any problems. I'd just like to be able to use Boxee (maybe), because Boxee is indeed a nice simple idea. If you did indeed fix your broken software. Thats all I'm going to say, I'll check back from time to time to see if there is a response at all. Not that I'm excepting one from Team Boxee. Lastly you have lost a paying customer forever, due to your actions with the software versions. And I have started spreading word of mouth to my family and friends not to buy the Boxee Box, its a waste of money.

Default Where can I download it from?

The downloads page at boxee.tv only has links to boxee box firmware, ipad and iphone. No link to Windows app.

404 means that the file has been removed from the main boxee site.

Do a search of the forums and you will find the links to the google docs where the downloads exist.
