I have found using a router with VPN firmware and a VPN service on it the best way, always up and working. NO settings, no dropped stuff.

Hello once again from Canada. A couple of questions please. I am currently using HMA with an Asus RT-N16 flashed with Tomato Firmware and OpenVPN Client 1 set for the UK and OpenVPN Client 2 set for the US. So when I want the UK, I start the Client 1 and if I want the US, I start Client 2. Seems to work well but I did notice an awful decrease in speed if I happen to have a client running while I was downloading a movie from the newsgroup. As soon as I stopped the Client my speed jumped back up.

Question 1. Is this common with Vpn's or HMA and anyone else find this also?
Question 2. Does speed drop happen with DNS Service?
Question 3. Which gets more channels, VPN or DNS Service and I am just looking at UnoTelly as they seem to have more options than HMA?

I guess the bottom line here is I don't like the drop in speed when using the HMA Client when it is running and to Quote a_team from the the #1 posting about more Channels with Unblock-US.

"In the end, after 8 VPN's, I had access to 29,21,30,31,22,20,28,30 Channels meanwhile with Unblock-US I had 75. The only one I wasn't receiving with Unblock was this CBWTV one which didn't have much content and the popular stuff was carried by other channels."

So correct me if I am wrong here..... DNS service's gives more Channels than VPN's (in my case Hide My Ass)

Also might mention that I think but not sure that UnoTelly have a similar feature to the HMA to the two (2) Open VPN Client's called UnoDNS Dynamo.

"UnoDNS Dynamo is an intelligent DNS technology develoepd by Team UnoTelly to let you choose channels of different countries."

Question 4. Anyone advise or explain the difference here between UnoDNS Dynamo and the HMA Open VPN Clients or are they similar in function?

    Thanks again,
    Tommy
