Default Intergration of BMM to BoxeeBox

I dont understand why do I need to install BMM , when I have a boxee box ? My Current setup is 4 hard drives connected to powered USB hub and in turn into Boxee box. These 4 drives are available over the network to all machines and one of them runs BMM. If my BoxeeBox can play movies to my TV , It shouldnt be difficult for it to stream it to my Ipad

    Setup
    __________
    | Disk 1 ---
    | Disk 2 ---
    --- USB Hub -- BoxeeBx -- Network -- PC 3 -- BMM -- Network -- Ipad
    | Disk 3 ---
    | Disk 4 ---
    __________

so there are a lot of point of failures , wouldnt it be easy just to include BMM with Boxee box ? . Not sure if that is on the feature list at this point.
