    Default Xbmc Torrent-X

Hi ive been using the windows version of boxee for around a week and I'd like to say everything is running perfectly. I'd like to add the torrent-x xbmc plugin to boxee, ive managed to get it to show up in boxee but when i try to select it comes up with "Loading Error failed to retrieve data". Ive add the plugin to the internet section under videos. Is there anything that I have missed or is this plugin incompatible with boxee?

    Thanks in advance

I was able to add the scenesrelease plugin from boxeehq.com. It didn't work from using the instructions on the site, I was able to extract the zip to the /plugins/video folder, go to the "Applications" menu item under the Settings and add the application. It worked from that point on.

Which plugin is this from the site? point me to the url and I'll try it out.

This is the plugin i downloaded, it can do torrents and nzbs from various sites. If you can get it working it would be great.

I need to look into the code a bit, but I get the same error on this one. I'm not sure if it's on the retrieval of content when it's activated. I'll look. I do believe from searching on the forum that torrent downloads aren't enabled in this alpha release for windows. You can browse, but I don't think when you click on download that they actually download after they are queued.

I get the same "failed to retrieve" error when I go to the browse menu, click on the boxee downloads item to view if the items are being downloaded.

I can load this plugin into XBMC, but I get a similar problem in XBMC as in Boxee. The issue appears to be in the code or with the windows platform. I haven't dug into it, but I have to think that this wouldn't work until downloads are active in boxee anyway.

I get this same error message on some of the other plug-ins for XBMC but they still seem to work. I can watch the videos just have to click the error message out of the way.

Tomorrow I'll d/l the torrent-x and see if it'll work for me.
