Default boxee + youtube + iphone + airplay

    Hi,

I've noticed a "pair" button under the youtube app. As I could understand you can play youtube movies from your iphone and show them on your TV? Airplay? It said I should download "YouTube Remote". But which one?

    Is it possible in Sweden?.

    Thanks / Jesper

To enable AirPlay on the Boxee Box go to Settings>>Network>>Servers and enable "iOS streaming".

I'm not sure what the YouTube Remote is or what said you needed that exactly.

Apps that support AirPay will display the AirPlay icon; tap that, select the destination (Boxee Box) and that's it.

Yeah, it works pretty well. I've been using my android tablet and, when the youtube app is open, you can use Youtube Remote on your android device, it selects and plays on the boxee what your playing on your tablet. Very useful and quick.

I just discovered the option about 4 days ago.

Turn your Android device into a YouTube remote control!
Control the YouTube experience from the comfort of your couch!
With YouTube Remote, you can use your Android phone or tablet as a remote control for YouTube videos on your desktop computer or Internet TV.
Simply visit youtube.com/leanback on your computer or TV, and navigate to My YouTube -> Pair with mobile device.

I'm sorry if this is old news, but this is the first I have ever seen this. Makes the Youtube app useful now. lol
