After reading all the threads, I still can't get it to work. When I try to create the Recovery Image disk0s2 shows as resource busy. Looks like this disk is my internal disk on my mac. I'm lost... Any ideas?

Sorry bout that. Yes, trying to set up NitoTV on an ATV 1 (jailbroken with the Firecore patchstick). I have all the needed files, but I fail when trying to go through the steps to create the Recovery image. Hope this helps.
Ok, don't want to double post here, so i'll stick to here. Nuggyblake I'll try to go by the instructions in your signature. Let's see how far I'll get.
*** Update ***
No luck with the install me command. Have the NitoTV folder in the home directory of Frontrow, changed install me to 755, but I cannot execute the command. Response from terminal is sudo: ./installme: command not found
What do I do?

Okay;
1. Did you DL NitoTV take three ?
2. Did you unpack the zip ? If you did you should have a folder called "nitoTV Take Three"
3. Inside that folder are 4 files and 1 folder;
About.txt
Install Instructuction.rtf
installme
nitoTV.tar.gz
Folder - resources
did you issue cd "nitoTV Take Three" ?
Im not sure how you "tricked" your atv ? Is it 3.0.2 ? Which patchstick did you use ? There have been some variations, altho frankly it should not matter, but it could.
My advise is to rm everything and start over.
You can sftp via cyberduck and examine the structure or use terminal.
Get back to me with results.

I think I have it now. I forgot the ""
Now it restarted finder.

I ran SMART installer, restarted finder, but no Recovery.dmg

Okay, try it again after a Hard re-start. Run kext smart installer, it should prompt you that it will download 10.4.9 recovery dmg. If not do not despair, DL from
http://www.iclarified.com/entry/comm...commentsanchor
I would DL both 10.4.9 and the OS.dmg (you will have to look around for that.....). Place both in frontrow/ documents
hard reboot. USB and AFP are enabled (verify AFP from within nito).

It didn't prompt me, dl'd both files, incl. Os.dmg (md5 is correct on this) placed it in the documents folder, ran smart installer, restarted finder, hard reboot, still no AFP... After smart installer the log reads that it's looking for the 10.4.9 in the movies folder? Also the about on nitoTV states it as Take Two. I did install 3 though...

Text doc is correct. Dont stress that one. Again, I dont know how you "tricked" your atv, so you may not have an A-typical setup. I have heard of this before, but my only idea would be to move the file to that folder or create a symlink and copy that there. Beyond that I will dig around and re-post.

Ok I moved both files into the movie folder and now it's downloading the 10.4.9 file... Now what?
******
It dl'd the 10.4.9 but no change. Still no AFP...
