Music eventually stops playing until reboot

After about 10-15 minutes of playing songs the UI responsiveness starts to lag and eventually slows to a crawl. Then it just stops altogether: the visualization is frozen and the unit doesn't respond to the remote. It won't work again until I get up and restart the box.

I'm playing ALAC over SMB. Any help?

Have you tried it with latest Beta 1.5?? If not I'll suggest you to go ahead give it a spin

I've heard about this problem here but, never followed up. BTW I found this jira issue , which relates to your problem. Please vote & comment on the issue as well as open a ticket on support.boxee.tv to get help from official Boxee Help Team
