    Thanks for your guidance.

I've successfully installed Boxee 1.5 in Ubuntu 11.10 Oneiric 32-bit chroot inside Ubuntu 11.10 Oneiric 64-bit.

to go into the oneiric_i386 chroot, I type dchroot -d

to launch Boxee directly witout being in the chroot, I type dchroot -d /opt/boxee/Boxee

Boxee launches fine and plays fine, at least with analog output. But I couldn't get DD bitstreaming working.

The Boxee browser crashes each time I try to launch it, but I can browse by launching browser from the home menu Web icon.

flashplayer is laggy, like video acceleration is not working.

In the following post below, someone suggested something like replacing the libflashplayer.so at /opt/boxee/system/players/flashplayers with the libflashplayer.so at /usr/lib/flashplugin-nonfree/. I tried but it doesn't seem to work. Flash is still laggy.
