Default VUDU on PC and Mac Clients

    Hi,

Just wondering if anyone knew why Boxee won't be supporting VUDU on the PC and Mac.

This is the email I received from VUDU today:

    Code:
    Dear Paul J,

We would like to inform you that as of 12/27/2011, Boxee will no
longer be supporting VUDU on their PC and Mac clients. However, you
can still access your current content, and acquire more movies and
television programs by visiting our website at VUDU.com/movies,
or through a VUDU client on any of our other supported device
platforms. A complete list of all supported devices can be found at
    http://www.vudu.com/devices.html

Please note that this change only affects customers who use Boxee's
downloadable app for PC and Mac. Users with set top Boxee devices will
still be able to access and watch all of their VUDU content as normal.

We thank you for your continued support and patronage.

    Sincerely,
    The VUDU Team

From the announcement regarding v1.5 on computer platforms:

As a platform, we have been able to bring Boxee for Computers to about 85% of the Boxee Box in terms of features and functionality. Due to extensive DRM and certification requirements premium apps will not be available on the downloadable version of Boxee, most notably Netflix, VUDU, and Pandora (click here for a full list).
