I've done two clean installs, it doesn't matter.

Yeah, the clean install didn't help here either.

I'm having the same issues on my screen....and, in the previous version before this "Last version" - when i went 16:9 - it FILLED the screen....Now, it's like viewing it as 4:3, with black bars on the sides, or on the top...or both....EVEN DOING SCREEN CALIBRATION!

If this is the "Last Version" of the App - this version sucks. I don't mind them going the way of the Box itself...but, geeze...it's not hard to either continue pushing updates to fix issues - or, come out with solid builds.

Just because there's SOME content out there - like, Netflix - that doesn't work in the software in Canada - or, other Paid content that might not work in the software...there are STILL FREE alternatives to everything else...and, also, there are people - like me - who don't have the money for a box...let alone a freakin' TV.

Clean install of 1.5 on a Macbook using minidisplay port to HDMI ... after frustrating time trying to get the picture on the 144" projector screen finally got it working to discover this aspect quirk.
    Unhappy.

    Sad.

Hopefully they will fix this because Boxee's interface is miles above plex or xbmc and I don't want to buy a second boxee box til it gets stable.

This is unbelievable. It isn't a small bug, this right here affects the quality and fidelity of the image. Truly unbelievable.

I know money and focus is a problem but, guys, I believe that many of your users who have bought the Boxee Box are also a Mac user trying to have this software running in their machine. Like me, that even with D-Link charging us US$500 for your Box here in Brazil, bought this Box.

Just to illustrate the problem here:

The final/last update fixed this problem. Maybe download it from here?
