Default 1.5 for MAC just released

Seems they just released 1.5 for PC and MAC, get it here...
    http://www.boxee.tv/download#pc

So far my mouse will not work except for a small area up and down so I have to use the nab keys.
It can't identify most of my movies and shows (on NAS and configured for BB)
When I try to manually identify a movie the program crashes.
Other than that everything else works OK, I like the new navigation and menus, and the new movies and shows menu is much better. Need to fix the issue with the mouse and identifying movies and shows. It did tell me I had no net connection for the first minute or so then found and connected OK (just on first load.)
I will try un-installing and reloading as I just updated over the older version.

No luck on the re-install, still have same issues, lots of bugs in this release, going back to the last beta, so glad I always keep the install files.

At least you can get it to run... I updated and it crashes on start every time. Reinstalling the old beta build for now... hopefully it works agian.

Yep, this was not ready for primetime that's for sure. Browser quits unexpectedly, Navi-X freezes and locks the program, will not identify most of my library, and crashes when I try a manual identify, to many issues to name. Going to un-install and re-install the last Beta, which worked fine. I mostly use the Box but I use the MAC version for searching and adding stuff to the watch later menu.

Yep. Mouse is broken in v1.5. Resorted to last version prior to 1.5, and the mouse works. Must have rushed this out without testing.

You have to 'Enable Mouse' in "Settings/System/Navigation"

Default Why aren't the hardware requirements listed?

This is the second time I've been disappointed by downloading a new release from Boxee; by installing the software successfully and then greeted with an error stating the app isn't supported on "this type of Mac."

I understand about development/support resource constraints - my complaint is that I should be presented with this information before I go through the trouble to download, unpack, and install (which obliterates the previously WORKING application.) I will now unclench my teeth and attempt to re-install my year-old previously working version.

For the record, does "this type of Mac" means "Core Duo" Mac? I am guessing that boxee only supports the Core 2 Duo now, just like the Media Manager for iPad release - which I had to deduce in the same surprising manner.

And last but not least, this disappointment in the user experience is minimal compared to my respect at such a great platform. I use boxee daily and love it, thanks for providing useful, easy and FREE software.

Everytime the iPhone remote app tries to connect to Boxee 1.5, the Mac app crashed. More people experiencing this problem?
