I'm guessing #2 is related to a battery that needs to be changed in the remote. Change that and I bet this problem disappears.

Please don't post the same issue in two different places -- it makes it hard for folks to follow and see what's been suggested/tried, etc. One post is enough

Maybe I missed something but when i looked to see if there was another update the Boxee windows it had been totally taken off the downloads page!

what's the scoop? The team should remember that the windows version is the one that put them on the map and that's no just an opinion.

I'm not going to rant on about this I just want to know if the window user should just leave or not?

Er, right there in the first post (near the end):

This 1.5 release will be the last version of Boxee for PC/Mac/Ubuntu. It will be available on Boxee.tv through the end of January.

It's no longer supported by Boxee in any way, shape or form. All documentation and software regarding the desktop versions have been removed.

See my last link if you're looking for downloads, etc.

I was a little concerned about the page say's "PLEASE USE THE SOFTWARE AS IS."

It sounded like the code couldn't be modified but it's based on XBMC so there isn't an issue with modifying and distributing right?

hey dar i have reposted my self and have looked all over forums but unlike forums i cant track my reponses hence losing answers.. short of tagging posts..
sometimes i submit a reponse and come came the next day and cant find same post... mabe im lazy but in other forums i can track everything.. ty ... but when i hit my name in these forums i get no options... mabe if forums were tweaked mabe wed see less repeats . ty for ur work

You can use the "subscribe" option for threads (at the top of the thread, use Thread Tools). Then from your user control panel ("CP" link near the top of the page) you can list all your subscribed threads and visit them as you like.

Alternatively, you can use the Search/Advanced function (near the top of the page) and enter your name for user name and select "posts" or "threads" to see your posts or threads that have your posts.

hi, this may have been covered in another thread but ive read so many lately ive got all muddled up!

ive noticed my boxee box hasnt identified alot of movies in my library on this release. ive had to manually identify movies which showed up fine previously, well know movies like lord of the rings etc. hence ive started to create nfo files so i dont have to keep identifying them but its just another thing that worked but now i have to put more hours in to use it. is this just my box or have others noticed it too. just want to switch it on a watch a movie

also ive noticed my tv shows which have nfo files are not showing the correct poster looks like boxee has scraped it even tho there nfo and folder jpg there? it worked fine previously, i'll try clearing the cache later and re-scanning but done once already.

on a separate issue, ive just started to use boxee to play music (ive been using apple tv - may go back) what a drag it is to get to the music files!!!

why do i need to go into files and search out music why is there not a shortcut for music on the home page like there is for tv shows and movies????? this is really really poor and frustrating

also i dont know how it does music album art but that looks like more hard work for the end user, what ever happened to plug and play.
