    Default Most stable firmware version?

I'm currently on firmware version 1.2.2.20482-64560cd and growing tired of the random restarts, sound distortion/volume issue, and most recently my Navi X repository link reverting to Justin TV every other day. My Boxee Box is a refurbished unit that was a warranty replacement for my original one that up and died one day. So before I roll back to a previous firmware version (and block automatic updates) I'd like to get some feedback from others as to what version they have had the most luck with (apparently, luck does play a significant role here) as far as stability and functionality are concerned.

It seems that some versions in the 1.0.4xxxxx range worked pretty well but I really didn't pay close enough attention to what changed for me with each iteration.

One last request to the firmware build team: can you PLEASE make the firmware updates OPTIONAL? Thanks, all. Looking forward to your input.

I thought 1.2.2.20482 was the best one I'd seen yet. But aside from that, 1.2.0.20310 was very stable and usable for me.

Are you of the opinion that the fact that your unit is refurbished is playing some role in this? I don't think it should. I just bought a second, refurbished box as an X-Mas gift, so I am curious if somehow that is an issue.

See my sig file for info on how to download and install firmware, where to get the binaries, etc., if you need any help with that. It also tells how to turn off automatic updates - the simple way, and the hard way.
@tronbrain uses Boxee Box hardware rev A2, with firmware V1.5.0.23735 <- CLICK ME to learn how to up or downgrade firmware.
Connected to a Panasonic Viera 32-inch LED TV in 1080p HD.
    Hard-wired to Ethernet network via a D-Link DGS-2208 8-Port 10/100/1000 Desktop Switch.
Media served by a Buffalo Technology LinkStation Pro Quad 2 TB NAS Box.

Issues do not seem to be related to the refurbished unit, however I must say it did take me some time to clean off the pizza grease fingerprints off the box and remote when it arrived(?!). Otherwise, thanks for your recommendations.

I give the link to download that firmware in my sig file, along with the rest of them.

    In my opinion...

    1.2.0.20310 for 1.2.x stability
1.0.4.17443 for speed/stability overall. (granted...full screen doesnt work on many apps..but its the snappiest and has the most functional OSD controls)
    Boxee 3: B1 1.5.1.23735
    Boxee 2: A2 1.x.xx.xxx.xxx.xxx (Guinea pig..b!tch box) DEAD. Currently RMA'd
    Boxee 1: A2 1.0.4.17443 (Happy box!)
    Justification: PICK ONE!
    Wired-->D-Link DGS-2208 8-port Switch(media)--->Router on Win2003SVR-->Internet
    SMB Shares: Win7, NS4600 NAS
USB: RII 2.4 Keyboard, WD 500GB Passport(Network shared on Bbox 1)
