Arrow Error: Too many consecutive failed items

Folder and files shared using BMM, using BB remote to navigate through folders.
The thumbnail of the shared JPGs displays correctly, does not open though.
If I try to open another JPG or FLAC or AVI or anything for that matter I get:

    Error
    Playlist playback aborted
    Too many consecutive failed items

Symantec EP exception added for BMM, tried disabling it, restarting Bonjour, re-installing BMM.

PS. SMB shared files play fine.

BMM only supports video playback currently.

darci, I am not able to play any video files either. MP4, DivX, MKV...
I am not sure if these are transcoded.

Not sure why not. Have you looked at your log file? What happens when you try and how long do you wait?

What's the CPU load like while you try and what are the hardware specs of the system you have BMM installed on? It might be underpowered.

If transcoding is not done on the PC side, Core 2 Duo T7100 with 4GB should do fine the way I see it. I thought that BMM was something like SMB, but then you tell me that only video playback is possible. Does that include iTunes non compliant formats?

Yes, transcoding is done on the PC side, which is why asked all those questions. BMM also doesn't use hardware acceleration at this point so that's why I was curious as to what the CPU load looks like when you try to stream.

Oh man!! I just want to browse to another folder to play another song without turning on my 65in panel. What would you suggest?

Put the music on your iPad and use AirPlay.

Or install something like subsonic (subsonic.org) that is a lot more versatile and stream from a subsonic iOS app; subsonic has a free trial for mobile streaming access (always free when accessing via web browser) but most iOS subsonic streamers/apps cost a few buck.
