Thread: No audio from music

    Default No audio from music

    I am a brand new user of Boxee and have also just switched to Win. 7 on PC.

    I have a small wired network and got Boxee to use primarily with Netflix with movie being sent to my hd tv.

    Plugged the boxee in and it setup and I was watching a movie on Netflix in less than 20 minutes.

    Now I am trying to access a file on my PC that I have placed a song, a video and a picture and after a struggle with permissions, have been able to see the picture and see and hear the video.

    The song shows on the Boxee list but when I try to play I am not getting any sounds. After many attempts I get the message too many failed items on playlist.

    Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    Further to this post, I just tried another song format, mp3 works, midi does not.
