Thread: Linux Hardy intel G31 + intel experimental mode setting driver = no full screen?

    Default Linux Hardy intel G31 + intel experimental mode setting driver = no full screen?

    Put boxee on a shuttle glamor xpc, with integrated intel G31 graphics and the intel driver.

    Boxee runs, but cannot go fullscreen - when it starts up, you can still see the gnome panels and window decorations (no compiz running). Tabbing twice still does not get it to go fullscreen, but it does display after that.

    Should I post this in the hardware section? I thought the intel graphics cards were supported.

    hi johninsj

    -go into settings->appearance->screen

    toggle to "windowed" and click "OK" when you get the confirm dialog.
    then toggle back to "full" and again - confirm.
    then - restart boxee.

    this should do the trick.

    the thread should go under hardware section..
