Thinking of buying the Box - 2 Questions

I am thinking of buying the Boxee Box. I have two questions that will help me decide.

How does it handle the id3 tags and album art. I seemed to recall reading that every time I would go to my NAS it will fetch the album art and slow down my scrolling through the directories. Is that still the case or has the software on the Box been updated so music is fast to get too?

And I don't want to pay for Netflix or Hulu Plus ... etc. I like Hulu on my laptop. Does Boxee get the same shows as Hulu but use other services that don't cost anything other than the limited commercials?

Any help on this would be nice to help me decide.

1) Album art is still hit or miss (as far as using local artwork). There a number of alternate players / workarounds though.

Music Player (Boxee app)

Using UPnP services such as AssetUPnP

2) You can access free Hulu via the Bartsidee TV Framework app. Boxee also indexes/scrapes content from web, a lot of which is available via the Xfinity channel and others.
