Default Automatically play Next Video Option

I saw that there's an option for automatically play next music files under "music", but I think it's going to make boxee experience richer if there's another option for "automatically play next video checkbox" under "video option."

This feature is requested by many users and there's a jira issue for this http://jira.boxee.tv/browse/BOXEE-7701 please, vote and comment on it.

However in the meantime you can make a .m3u playlist for your videos which you'd like to play continuously

That jira issue has been sitting around for almost two years with over two hundred votes and qualified as a "major" issue and yet is still unassigned. Is there anything moving forward on this?

And what in the world is a .m3u playlist?

2 years, no implementation. Unfortunately, this is a typical Boxee response (or lack thereof). I remember the PC software had this option by default, so it's not like they don't know how to code it. It's frustrating supporting Boxee when they don't seem to support the users.

    Actually, no it doesn't.

I created a .m3u file for the bunch of videos, placed in the same folder on a HD connected to the Boxee Box and I get: "Playback Error - The media source of file is not accessible"

Does this file need to have any specific characteristics?
