Installed Boxee yesterday on my Macbook OS 10.4 and used it immediately for about half an hour.
Every attempt since then has been a Fail during the launch, right after I click my user name.

I've found exactly the same thing - however I think this is some problem with the actual connection to boxee. If I disable my internet connection and log in, Boxee starts as usual without crashing and I can browse my media etc.

Interesting-now it has started working again - tried on multiple computers and none have worked for about an hour...

And back to crashing again - it is definitely something to do with the internet connection though and not a file on my machine - if i disconnect from the net I can log in without a problem.

yes - it crashes (for me anyway) when trying to access recommendations or friend feeds - but if you don't log in, then it works.

I think there may be something to do with the application not handling internet responses very well (from curl?)

At the moment, I am not able to set the Weather to Brisbane, Australia - or when it fetches it - the program crashes.

It seems all these crashes are related to fetching some XML off the internet, that may or may not be coming back as expected.
