RCA + HDMI Connection Problems

I have connected the boxee box to my TV with the HDMI, and hooked up the RCA (red and white) audio cable to the boxee box and into the auxiliary port of my surround sound receiver HOWEVER I am getting NO sound.

I tried calling tech support but they literally couldnt understand me and said "trial and error please." Does anyone know how to get this hookedup correctly?

In Settings/System/Audio/Audio Output, Check to see what it's currently set for - You could use Analog or All Outputs -- I believe Analog will disable the sound on your TV
