Is anyone else experiencing remote spazzing after updating to the latest firmware? If I press 'right' once, it seems to think i pressed 5 times (according to the clicking sound). Same with the "enter" button, "menu/back" button.

Lychee - This is the classic symptom of your remote needing a new battery. I just replaced mine for the first time and remote works perfectly again.
Ooh, thanks.![]()
Mine did this after the update too but a new battery has fixed it, the battery wasn't even that old. Maybe they'd tweaked something that makes the remote fail earlier? The battery is still working fine in other things.

I'm not sure why Battery Low warning doesn't pop up, which was included in one of the fw releases. So I've created a jira issue on this, please vote and comment on this to get it fixed in upcoming fw release http://jira.boxee.tv/browse/BOXEE-11623

experiencing the same issue here after the update
It's maybe a coincidence but I am having the same problem since last firmware update
I didn't see anything official about the low battery indicator being removed, but there was an issue reported (BOXEE-10692) where the indicator was appearing when the battery was fine. So, judging from that it was probably removed because it wasn't giving a true indication of the battery level.
I had the low battery indicator coming on every few button presses on the remote, but the battery lasted easily a couple of months longer before I started getting multiple button presses detected (by that time the low battery indicator had been removed) and needed to change the battery.
I am also having this problem. Where is the low battery indicator supposed to show up if it does work?
