Thread: None of my movies are auto recognized

Default None of my movies are auto recognized

I've ripped all of my movies to MP4. They are all named after the title of the movie so when I manually recognize it it is usually right. Is there any way to tell Boxee to choose the first result on the recognize list? It's always right and it would be much easier to correct 10 wrong ones than to put 500 in manually. Thanks.

Give us a few examples of filenaming.
For movies it should be something like Movie.Name.Year.EXT

I don't actually have the years but most of my files are named Movie Name.MP4
    i.e. The Godfather.MP4

Every time I use the manually recognize button it's the first result under movies so I think that regardless of the fact I don't include the year it should only make mistakes with movies such as The Day The Earth Stood Still due to the multiple versions.

I'm just trying to find a way to set it to recognize by default the best it can.

Also does MP4 have ID3 tagging like MP3's do? If anyone knows
